Message as it is. Bad design over the sidemounts due to the crossflow (left turbo leads to right throttle body). They look retarded...
Anything else? They provide no advantage to side mount intercoolers in applications under 700hp ish. There are plenty of side mount intercoolers that fit much nicer, easy to find piping, not too expensive (however, if you want to spend serious dough, there are those, too). What you have to think with every decision on a turbo car is, "will this really benefit me?"
Your front mount will more than likely hurt you rather than benefit you over a sidemount of equal value.
